About
Hello, I’m Claire. Thanks for stopping by! I’m so glad you found your way here. So, in case you are wondering here’s a bit about me and why you’re sat here reading this.
I have worked professionally in the dog industry my whole life, ( yes that’s since 17 and I am in my 40’s now. ) I loved my little 1-1 holistic grooming salon and my dog care business. The last 7 years as a multi qualified dog trainer, cyprus rescue volunteer, educational speaker and more.
After over 25 years in the dog industry, noticing what dog and owners would find most beneficial – I am here to deliver something new- that’s needed.
That will truly make a difference you your lifestyle together in the best and most effective way.
I understand how scary and confusing the largely unregulated dog industry can be for dog owners when looking for dog training, dog walking and care services, searching for dog professionals is tough.
It can waste your money and leave dogs at risk of harm. People often have to go through many professionals, leaving you feeling frustrated and un-trusting.
A life together…We have our dogs to share a enjoy a lovely life together and this is what Barks & Splendour lifestyle Enhancement provide.
Having access to exclusive expert training programs, experiences and a very special club you will not find anywhere else.
Myself and my team are here for you every step of the way and look forward to meeting you and your puppy or dogs!
Lovely words from our clients!

Recall training Review
Claire was extremely helpful with our dog Molly. We had problems with recall and with Claire’s help before and during lockdown we now have a very well behaved pooch who walks beautifully off lead and comes back when called. Some great tips and tricks to help, thank you Claire. David Barlow
Recall Training Review
So we did the pupply class and learnt all the nice things like sit, give paw and roll over but what we didnt learn was how to recall. After meeting up for friends for lunch we spent 45 minutes trying to get our boy back on lead which he thought was great fun but wasnt for us. Fast forward to meeting Claire we now have a dog whose recall is great. Claire is really passionate about her job and makes it fun for both the dog and owner alike and you forget you are learning as it’s so much fun.
Recall Review
So grateful for Claire’s support with helping my 11 month old bedlington with his recall. Just in a few days I saw results. I’d tried other professional services and didn’t feel I was getting anywhere. Thnaks you Claire for your time and kind approach with all the reinforcement myself and Otis needed. Wo look forward to working more with you in the future x Gemma Gibson
Puppy Training Review

Puppy Programme Review
We have recently taken part in one of Claire’s puppy training programmes and we loved every second of it! We have 2 miniature pinscher puppies and they can be very difficult and stubborn but Claire’s kind, knowledgable approach had them achieving everything we tried. Claire was supportive throughout the training period and We cannot wait to join her scent class in September with our teenagers! I have recommended lots of my clients to Claire knowing she will be the best help for them too. Thanks Claire see you again. Percy and Penny xx

This is not a dog training brand.
It is not a pet services brand.
It is a lifestyle enhancement brand to help you curate the best lives together with your dog and create special memories that last a lifetime.
By combining years of professional dog industry experience and understanding what it really is that makes the difference in lives of dogs and their owners.
Because no one got a dog purely to train them – that is only a small part of the plan of friendship, enjoyable walks, even some adventures together and of course – those relaxted times snuggled on the sofa watching TV or in your bed snoozing.
